I learned how important it is to realize that everyone’s interpretation of a situation or event is different, and that all sides need to be taken into consideration. It is especially important to understand your child’s/children’s interpretation so you can help them move forward with their relationships with both of their parents, as well as peers and future relationships. Creating a healthy understanding at the time of the divorce will affect how each parent and child moves into future relationships.

This coparenting class was overall put together very well. It truly made me think about forgiveness, letting go, take accountability and realizing that the way I see things in the marriage is merely my perception. Divorce isn’t easy but having the proper tools like this class can make all the difference in creating a healthy relationship for your children. Thank you!

This course provided a lot of useful information that could definitely be great for helping parents communicate after divorce.
